Our mixed hardwood logs are cut, split and kiln dried before being tipped into bulk bags for maximum value per purchase. Our mix of hardwood is mainly Ash. Ready for use in woodburners, fireplaces, stoves and firepits. A full bag is enough to keep your log shed stocked throughout the colder months. 

 

Kiln dried logs provide you with the ultimate burn quality with maximum heat output. The kiln drying process in our wood fired kilns remove most of the water for you, down to below an average of 20% moisture content. Burning kiln dried logs will ensure your stove glass is kept clean and will prevent a build-up of soot or tar in your chimney or flue and because you get so much heat output, you will actually need less kiln dried logs, than if you were to buy seasoned logs, thus providing you with great value for money.

    If you are outside of our 10 mile radius we ship our bulk bags Nationally using Response Logistics. Small packages under 30kgs are delivered door to door by APC with full tracking.

     

    PLEASE READ OUR FULL DELIVERY TERMS CAREFULLY - THE CONTRACT WITH ALL LOG COMPANIES IS KERBSIDE DELIVERY - It is purely at the discretion of the delivery driver if he can assist with the movement of the logs but we can not guarantee this - we are better to be honest and upfront with you before you place your order. Logs are very heavy and we have no control over the size of the vehicle used to deliver your order, usually it is an 18 ton curtain sided vehicle with a tail-lift if delivered outside our 10 mile radius. We try to ensure your order is delivered on your chosen day and this happens 99% of the time but occasionally there are circumstances outside of our control which may delay your order (weather, road closures, driver hours, accidents etc) and in these circumstances there is nothing we can do. The delivery drivers WILL NOT unpack your delivery & take away the pallet, it is a KERBSIDE DELIVERY only.

     

    PLEASE ENSURE YOU PUT A VALID TELEPHONE NUMBER - BOTH MOBILE & LANDLINE NUMBERS ARE ESSENTIAL SO DRIVERS CAN GET IN TOUCH TO ENSURE DELIVERY GOES SMOOTHLY - We do not dispatch logs without confirming delivery instructions as logs are very heavy and difficult to move if left in the wrong place or if access is difficult. We also recommend someone be at the property to accept delivery to ensure all runs smoothly.

    Orders placed before 3.00pm Mon - Fri will arrive on the 2nd - 3rd working day after placing order, unless stated otherwise. If you order over the weekend your order will be dispatched on Monday as we do not dispatch of Saturdays & Sundays. Delivery time is between 8.30am to 6pm. 

    IF YOUR POSTCODE IS WITHIN A 10 MILE RADIUS OF US (The checkout will work this out automatically) Your delivery is FREE OF CHARGE. Deliveries outside of our radius we will be using an external courier and this has an additional charge of £49.99.

    Deliveries for Scotland, Ireland and Islands are extra.

    If your postcode is OUTSIDE the 10 mile radius of us, please make sure you understand the following:

    Our Kiln Dried logs will be delivered by Response Logistics. Logs are delivered in bulk bags, strapped to a pallet. Please note we do not waste money on new pallets as we try to keep our prices low so you may get a sturdy but used pallet. We do not collect or take the pallets away, logs are extremely heavy and can only be delivered on a pallet. The drivers do not unpack or stack logs they are contracted to deliver KERBSIDE ONLY & should you refuse a delivery the return delivery charges will be deducted from your refund.

    With state of the art CCTV and undercover load checking areas, Pallet Track are fully equipped to ensure that every pallet reaches its destination on time and in excellent condition. They may contact you on the morning of delivery with an approximate delivery time so please ensure you add a contact telephone number.

    The vehicle delivering your logs will normally be a curtain sided lorry equipped with a tail lift. The driver will drop your load with the aid of the tail lift and then with a pallet truck move the logs to within reason wherever you require but common sense prevails as to where the driver can gain access and the accessibility of the property, also the driver has to ensure he does not block public roads and access. We can only GUARANTEE KERBSIDE DELIVERY and anything else will be at the discretion of the driver, (please note there is only 1 driver who has no assistance and it is vital someone is there to assist) but we must say we usually find most drivers are very courteous and helpful. If there is someone available at the property at the time of delivery a second pair of hands is always a great help for the driver and helps ensure a smooth delivery.

    Please note that certain deliveries are made on a pallet as that is the only way they can be transported and the driver can not unload the goods and take the pallet away. The pallet is your responsibility to dispose of, we apologise if this is inconvenient but this is the only way heavy goods can be transported. (some customers actually use their pallet for kindling)

     

    There are some common sense restrictions that will apply, pallet trucks have very small front wheels and are unable to deal with gravel drive ways or any broken surfaces, steep gradients or inclines, grass or soft soil. You have to bear in mind that these logs are very heavy so steep inclines & uneven surfaces make it virtually impossible for the driver to manoeuvre the pallet and in these circumstances the driver may be forced to leave your delivery on the pavement (kerbside) outside the property.

    Also bear in mind that the driver can not park or offload if he is blocking a road or access.

     

    If a driver has to cancel a delivery because he feels it is unsafe or an impossible delivery location a cancellation fee will be incurred so if you are unsure PLEASE call us first to discuss delivery options.

     

    Also bear in mind the actual lorry can not discharge the load on any incline as the pallet will be unstable when lowered to the ground on the tail lift so if you do not have a level road at your premises the delivery may be abandoned and you will be charged for a failed delivery. This is for your safety and the safety of the driver.

    If a delivery is refused or has to be re-delivered there will be a re-delivery charge to be paid. If there is a failed delivery and the order has to be returned to us the cost of any delivery surcharges paid and delivery back to us will be deducted from your refund.

     

    Should you amend the delivery address after dispatch there will be a delivery charge to pay for re-direction to new address. When you checkout you can not proceed to payment without agreeing to these terms.

    Whilst we offer a 3 day Delivery service we can not be held responsible for delays & incidents outside of our control and we are unable to offer compensation unless the delay is our fault. Usually 95% of deliveries make it within 3 days maximum but occasionally it may take longer and please bear in mind external factors such as weather.
